Founded in 1965 under the umbrella of Koç Holding, which has achieved to differentiate itself from its competitors by taking responsibility for many of Turkey's breakthroughs from industrialization to globalization throughout its journey of nearly 100 years from 1926 to the present day and has always been the pioneer of firsts, such as the establishment of the first joint stock company in Turkey, the first industrial venture, the first international partnership, the first public offering, Setur is one of the leading players in its field, playing a key role in the development of the tourism sector and travel in Turkey, bringing Koç Holding's Group Company, institutionalism and expertise to the tourism sector.
Setur, which incorporates all kinds of services in the field of tourism, has become one of Turkey's first and leading tourism companies with its worldwide achievements. Domestic and international tour operatorship, airline ticket sales, congress and event organizations, and local services constitute the umbrella of Setur's tourism services. Setur also owns the sales rights of Abercrombie&Kent and Orient Express brands and offers special advantages to its guests with its Four Seasons Preferred Partner and Hyatt Prive membership.
In 2001, Setur acquired BookinTurkey.com, Turkey's largest online corporate travel portal. In 2017, Setur renewed this platform under the name Seturbiz.com and made a significant breakthrough in the digital field.
Setur is also the Turkish representative of BCD Travel, one of the top three companies in the global corporate travel market. Growing rapidly in the sectors in which it operates day by day, Setur registered its service quality with ISO 9000 - 2001 standards in 2002. Setur also has a wide range and network of services with its memberships to organizations such as IATA, UFTAA and ASTA.
